The Liberty Arts Building, located in
downtown Elmhurst has been invaded by artists. Rosalyn G. Long
of RGL Marketing for the Arts, Inc. has created an amazing
"art niche" in the middle of Elmhurst City Centre. The Liberty
Arts Building (historically, the Elm Bowl from 1925) is the
beginning of a "new cultural era in Elmhurst." The citizens of
Elmhurst will never accessorize or decorate the same again.
In 2000, Roz founded RGL Marketing for the
Arts, Inc., as a further outlet for her support. Then in
September 2003, Roz opened
Purse-ona, a unique, sophisticated
accessories boutique, which she owns and operates today.

About Roz Long
It can truly be said that Roz Long has a
passion for art. In fact, she’s dedicated her vast career to
the support and advancement of it.
Having received masters degrees in both
Education/Special Education as well as Counselor Education,
Roz began teaching high school students and also served as a
counselor/career advisor to budding high school artists
interested in pursuing a career in the arts. She continued
this same role as a career advisor to students at the College
of DuPage.
From there, Roz taught seminars on how to
market art, and repped wearable art on behalf of boutiques,
galleries and art museums across the U.S.
Roz has particularly helped the arts
community of Elmhurst, Illinois, where she founded and
produced the
Elmhurst Art Museum’s 13th Annual
Art in the Park:
A Juried Show of Fine Art, Craft, and Design presented by
Renewal by Andersen
as well as
the founder and the producer of the Forest Park Arts Fest: A
Juried Show of Fine
Art, Craft,
and Design presented by Boulevard Fine Art. Additionally, Roz
founded the Liberty Arts Building in Elmhurst, continues to
plan events on its behalf and even consults the Elmhurst Art
Museum Gift Shop.
In summary, Roz's passion for both
supporting the arts as well as educating the community on its
importance shows no signs of slowing down. She is truly a
person who enjoys her calling and continues to further her
artistic cause in many original and exciting directions.
