
It can truly be said that Roz Long has a passion for art. In fact, she’s dedicated her vast career to the support and advancement of it.
Having received masters degrees in both Education/Special Education as well as Counselor Education, Roz began teaching high school students and also served as a counselor/career advisor to budding high school artists interested in pursuing a career in the arts. She continued this same role as a career advisor to students at the College of DuPage.
From there, Roz taught seminars on how to market art, and repped wearable art on behalf of boutiques, galleries and art museums across the U.S.
Roz has particularly helped the arts community of Elmhurst, Illinois, where she founded and produced the Elmhurst Art Museum’s 14th Annual Art in the Park: A Juried Show of Fine Art, Craft, and Design presented by Suburban Bank & Trust as well as the founder and the producer of the 3rd Annual Forest Park Arts Fest: A Juried Show of Fine Art, Craft, and Design presented by Boulevard Fine Art & Custom Framing. Additionally, Roz founded the Liberty Arts Building in Elmhurst and even consults the Elmhurst Art Museum Gift Shop. Roz is an associate board member for the Elmhurst Art Museum and is a founding member of the Arte at Nite : Food for Life Committee. Her experience also includes past marketing director for Elmhurst City Centre. She is also curator at Glitch Gallery in Elmhurst.
In summary, Roz's passion for both supporting the arts as well as educating the community on its importance shows no signs of slowing down.
